To all Thomasian Scholar Graduates:

We are very proud and glad that you had overcome all the trials and challenges for the past four or five years. This is the time you’ve been waiting for, the result you truly deserve and worked for. May you continue to move ALL OUT on your hopes and dreams as you start another chapter of your journey. Continue to live a compassionate life in the real world and remember that being smart and competent is necessary but what is important is that you know when to be. Aim high but remember to keep your feet on the ground. In whatever path that you may take, keep in mind that your Becarios de Santo Tomas family will always be here to support you for you have been an inspiration to all of us. Mga Ka-BeST!

Becarios de Santo Tomas was conferred with its third Pope Leo XIII Community Development Award and its first St. Dominic de Guzman Award during the Students Awards Day 2013 at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.

Its community development projects include BUTIL (Bonded University Towards Imbued Learning), a flagship scholarship program in coordination with 60 participating student organizations and local councils in the University. Becarios de Santo Tomas also conducted the first Philippine Scholars’ Summit participated by different schools nationwide.

We are cordially invited to participate at the Voters’ Engagement and Empowerment Workshop, an event under BayaniBoto 2013 on March 9, 2013 (8:00AM to 5:00PM) at the Ateneo School of Public Health and Medicine (Chung Te Auditorium). BayaniBoto aims to educate student voters and empower them to go above and beyond the duty to vote. TOSPAC-NCR envisions BayaniBoto to serve as the link between organizations that forward voting rights, and college and university students in Metro Manila.

The events will be hosted by The Outstanding Students of the Philippines Alumni Community–NCR (TOSPAC-NCR), in cooperation with the DLSU Student Government, University of Sto. Tomas Journalism Society and Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan.
